Matthew 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We are not to worry about what tomorrow may bring for there are no tomorrows. If we live today as we should there won't be time left to worry about anything. We aren't to worry about shelter, food, or clothing for God knows our every need before we ask. We are to seek God first and do His will and God will take care of the rest. He provides for the birds and the other things and we are more valuable than those. My God has provided for me for 70 years, will He not continue to meet my needs now? My answer is yes He will. I may not always get what I want but I will receive what I need. The Bible tells us to be content with what we have. We can count our blessings every day for what God has provided. I have a husband who loves me, children, grandchildren and great-granddaughter and one great grandchild on the way, a roof up above, food, water, and clothes just to name a few. Those things right there are enough to praise my God for, for ever and ever. Today is all we have for there is no promise of tomorrow. I'm pretty bad to put off until tomorrow things I don't like to do. If I would just go ahead and get them done it would be far better for me than putting them off. If you can do something for others, do it today. Because you don't know what tomorrow may bring. I once read a poem about a person that was going to call his friend but didn't, and when he did get around to calling the friend, he was told he had died that day. Sad but so true we all put off things everyday of our lives that we ought to be doing today. I pray with God's help to do better, how about you?
