This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

This is one of our daughter-in-law's favorite bible scriptures. You can find it in the Bible and on the back of book markers but on very little else for I have looked and haven't found much. I believe every day is a good day because God has given it to us and we should rejoice and praise Him for it. Today the sun maybe shining and making me feel good, but should the day be cloudy or raining, should I be any less thankful for it? It comes from God and He knows better than I what is needed to make things grow. So is our life; it takes the happy times and the sad times and those in between times to make us grow in Him. I'm afraid if all my days were filled with sunshine I wouldn't appreciate it as much when days of rain come my way. I truly love the rainy days just not stormy ones. I believe God wants us to take whatever day He sends and be thankful for whatever it brings. I'm human and I do enjoy some days better than others, but I know all of them are for my good in Christ Jesus. I may not see the reason for what is in my day but God does and that truly is enough for me to rejoice.

the next time your day is less than perfect, thank God for it any way and you might find out it is a beautiful day after all because God made it and you can rejoice in it.
