But when Jesus heard that He said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.

The pharisees was asking Jesus disciples why is your master eating with publicans and sinners and Jesus replied with the above verse. I believe Jesus was speaking of the lost and how they needed a soul doctor and those who already knew Him had no need. So many in our world today don't know Jesus as Savior and Lord and they do desperately need the beloved physician. He can heal broken hearts, broken homes, broken lives and the list goes on and on. I'm not one who likes going to the doctor but when I reach that point, I feel so badly I could just lay down and not get up, I know to go whether I want to or not. Our souls like our bodies needs doctoring and I would pray we will run to the great physician, Jesus so He can heal them. Don't be like me and wait until I'm really sick before I go. Jesus is the greatest and most important physician of all and we all need Him.
