Psalm 119:11 NIV
I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.

Oh, that we all would hide God's words in our hearts. How they comfort and sustain me through whatever I'm going through. I draw strength from the Bible and courage to face tomorrow as well as needed strength for today. A young child can memorize Bible verses if they are short and can tell you if you leave out a part of Bible stories they have learned in Sunday school. Even when you don't think a child or teenager is listening, they are. I remember as a teenager listening to my mother reading from the Bible. I did listen enough that one day I saw myself as a sinner and accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of my life. My memory is not as good as it use to be, but I love God's word and I love hearing God's word preached. If we take time to read God's word daily we aer hiding it in our hearts. The Bible is a treasure house to help us through the storms of life. It is the only road map we have to take us home, our eternal home. Hide as much of it as you can in your heart today, so that you might not sin against God and will have help when the storms of life come your way.
