Proverbs 8:17
I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

We are trying to teach our little one about Jesus and His love. Some days are really good and other days I wonder how on earth am I going to get through to her. And then she makes my heart soar when she prays for her baby doll who got sick. We won't always get it right, but I do believe the Lord is smiling for many reasons when He looks at us praying for a doll. Yes it is a doll, but she is learning to pray. In her world it is real pretending. Which makes me wonder how often I pretend in my real world. My prayer is that I will live up to the example I'm trying to set for her. How often we forget that we are being watched. Jesus watches us...a very sobering thought. Our family watches us. What about the stranger in line at the grocery store? A beggar on the side of the road? The angels in heaven who minister to God's chosen. What do they all see? What does my Jesus feel when He sees me yell at my family when I get really stressed. What does He feel when He watches me throw out food in the fridge after a couple of days when I passed by a poor unfortunate soul on the road holding up a sign for food or help? Let's seek God early. Jesus healed and helped people. He met the spiritual needs and their pyshical needs. He loved people and met them where they were. Let's show Him we love Him by following His example.
