Romans 15:4 KJV
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Life is like a winding road that never seems to end and we never know what's around the bend. Sometimes I've grown tired and weary with life's struggles and trials, but just when I seem to reach the end of the rope, I'm reminded of all that Jesus endured for me. God's word renews my strength and courage to face this life and whatever it holds. We have assurance from God's word that He is ever with us and He won't leave us to face life alone. Every time I look around and see my many blessings and read God's word, I'm glad my journey is toward my God and Savior. This life will be filled with disappointments and troubles but this world is not my home. I'm just passing through.
