Salvation

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Jesus is my shepherd.
My bright and morning star,
He's the lily of the valley,
And He is never very far.

My wayward soul, He purchased
Through His blood & stripes & pain,
For Him who knew no sin,
Paid so much for uncertain gain.

Freewill to all is given
Who will serve my Master fair?
The price He paid was one for all
There's eternity at stake, beware.

Where will you spend eternity
Be it heaven or be it hell.
What you believe unlocks the door
Not what you say or tell.

If hell is where you want to go
Then nothing you have to do.
Just walk along this wide open path
But you had better enjoy the view.

Because hell is fire and brimestone
With no water there to boast.
Remember the rich man wanted Lazarus
with a drop of water, to cool his burning throat.

Jesus is the one true way
The key to Heavens door.
It doesn't matter how much you have
It matters what you stand for.

If you believe Jesus was virgin born
And God's only begotten Son.
A perfect sacrifice for a dying world
That had no other place to run.

If you believe He rose from the dead
And is coming back someday.
My friend if you confess your sins
He will save you this very day.
