Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Faith for me is a never ending journey. While traveling down this road called faith, some views are so beautiful and breath taking, while others are hideous and breath stealing. There are days in my life where I am so dogmatic and sure and yet at times I'm like a leaf being blown by the wind across a field. Why? I am learning that the closer to Jesus I am the less wavering I am. When I keep my mind on Him, I'm less likely to lose faith. In other words, we have to pursue this wonderful relationship with Jesus. When my husband and I are in tune with each other, when we are mindful of our relationship to one another, the closer we are to each other. But when we put ourselves first and become distant, our relationship suffers. Same goes in our relationship to our Heavenly Father. When I run to Him, seek Him, talk to Him and just rest in Him, my faith becomes stronger.

Bottom line ...you get out of it what you put in it.
