Joshua 1:9 KJV
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Matthew 6:25 KJV
...Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor for your body what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat and the body than raiment.

As God's child I don't have to be afraid and yet I do sometimes let fear slip in. When I( listen to the news and all that is going on in the world around us my heart becomse fearful of what 's ahead; not so much for me as for our grandchildren and great grandchildren. The cost of living keeps increasing and so many jobs are being lost. I don't see how people can even keep food on their tables. Should I let my fear stay and rule my life and I can truly say no! Our God has promised to never leave nor forsake us/. Circumstances do not control our world, God does. And since I am His child, He will do what is best for our families and all His children. If I take my eyes off Him and keep them on the wiorld I will always be fearful and helpless to do what God has for me to do. We are living in hard times and it is hard for us to make ends meet, but I believe God and His word. He who could feed so many with a few loafs of bread and a few fish can cerainly feed us.

When yo feel fearful, look up to God and know you are never alone and He will provied for your needs.
