Respecting God

Psalm 128:1-4
Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways. When you eat the labor of your hands, You shall be happy, and it shall be well with you. Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine In the very heart of your house, Your children like olive plants, All around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord.

Sometimes in life we get so busy that we overlook the simple things that bring such joy and pleasure. Like spending time with our loved ones. When I was a child I wouldn't get very far away from my parents. As a teenager I couldn't get far enough away. Now that I'm middle age I can't seem to get close enough. I spent the morning playing dominoes with my folks and surprisingly had a good time. God doesn't promise us tomorrow, but He gives us grace to live each day for His honor and glory. I love my parents and I know that I won't always have them here, but what a wonderful memory my God granted me. Remember your love ones. Make memories.
