Psalms 19:14 NIV

May the words of mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Wednesday, March 14, 2012

When my soul sinks within me
And my spirit cannot fly
I cry out to my Saviour
He hears my faintest cry.

There are things I don't understand
There are questions I dare not ask
For God's ways are not mine ways
I'm to only do His tasks.

He remembers that I'm only dust
from the ground I was made
In His image I was fashioned
My sin debt He willingly paid

His love for me is unfathomable
His mercy I do not understand
But His presence I can't help but feel
With His outreaching loving hand.

Even at the lowest depths
Or the highest mountain top
My Saviour is my strength
He's my fortress and my Roc.
