Psalms 19:14 NIV

May the words of mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Whatever is born of God overcomes the world.  And this is the victory that has overcome the world -- our faith.    1 John 5:4

The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.  This is found in Hebrews 11:1.  Faith is  to believe in something you cannot see, to believe in a hope, to believe it has happened.  This is so very simple yet so very hard to do.  Our faith comes from God and Him alone.  In Romans 10:17 Paul tells us that faith comes by hearing and hearing comes by the word of God.

In other words, start reading the Holy Bible.  Hide it's words in your heart.  Meditate on what you read.  Pray for understanding.  "Draw nigh to God, He'll draw nigh to you."

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding;
In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths."  Proverbs 3
