May the words of mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

I just watched on Netflix an awesome show called The Encounter.  If you get a chance you should really check it out.  It is a story of Jesus who touches the lives of five different people in very different walks of life and brings them together in one place.  I will not ruin the story for you, but know this, it is very real in the angle of people coming to Jesus on His terms or leaving Him on theirs.   Not every one who searches for Jesus finds Him, not because He isn't there but because through pride they cannot see or will not see.  Jesus paid His life for us.........all He ask is that we ask Him into our lives as Saviour and Lord.   We all have troubles but when He is with us all things are possible and peace is in our hearts.  Trouble can make you crazy for moments but His peace is always there when we look to Him and not at the trouble.  May God bless you today.......

A Perfect Heart

II Chronicles 16:9 KJV
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect towards him..

What is a perfect heart? I believe the Bible is talking about the ones who are saved and who walk daily with the Lord. How can I have a heart that God will accept? I must be forgiven of my sins and have Jesus as Lord and Saviour of my life. I must read God's word and dwell in it daily. I must with the help of the Holy Spirit understand what I read and how I am to apply it to my life. I must have daily prayer and not always asking, but listening so I will know what God has for me to do. I must have faith and believe that God will do what He said He would do in His word. I must be faithful to go to church and set an example for others to go by, showing them that Jesus is in my life. I must live daily to be more like Jesus. I must love unconditionally and hate sin, but not the sinner. It scares me to know that my heart is not perfect. I am trying daily with my Saviour's help to have a better heart and I pray one day to have a perfect heart for my Lord. What is the condition of your heart?

A Merry Heart

Proverbs 17:22
A merry heart doeth good like a medicine.

Today I worked in a flower garden. I never knew one little corner of the world could grow such rocks...lol. It was a beautiful warm day and I basked in the sunshine. It was a wonderful feeling of accomplishment to work and then see results of that work. My parents and little one kept me company along with a small lizard. My heart was at peace and I love working with the landscape. Have you ever just sat still and truly felt the sunshine on your face? Or watched a lizard watch you? Have you walked down a lane looking for the perfect rock and then finding much more than you were looking for? Have you ever noticed the first little flowers before spring? They are tiny and a purple blueish color.

Take time to today to be still and reflect upon the beauty our Lord has provided. Let the sun shine upon your face and truly feel its warmth.
