Zephaniah 3:17
The Lord your God in your midst,
The Mighty One, will save;
He will rejoice over you with gladness,
He will quiet you with His love,
He will rejoice over you with singing.

"When a person quits trying and begins to trust the Lord Jesus, that's belief" by Adrian Rogers. When I read this in this morning's devotioal from Love Worth Finding, I begin to think about the word belief and what it really means to me. When you believe in something or someone you know that it is real, that it is sturdy and true. I have never seen my Jesus, nor have I ever seen my God, the Father who created all things. I've never touched them. I've never actually heard an audiable voice. But I've seen the beautiful landscapes. I've seen beautiful people(inside as well as out). I've seen my prayers answered that only me or one other besides my Lord and Saviour knew. I've never gone hungry and I've always been warm in the cold and dry when it was raining. Even when I've made bad decisions my Lord has been there to help me get back to where I need to be which is following Him.

I have so much to learn. And sadly I am hard headed and I seem to learn things the hard way. But this I know, my Jesus loves me and He died for me. And I trust Him.
