2 Corinthians 9:7
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Most of us would think this verse applies to just our money, but I think it applies to all that we give which includes our time and talents. Sometimes it is easier to give our money than it is our time and talents. Do you ever have your day all planned and for some reason, in a moment it changes. Perhaps a phone call or a knock on the door can just put a wrinkle in your plans. I'm learning that God has no time schedule or calendar only His plans for our good and His glory. He may send someone who needs a helping hand or let someone call that just needs a listening ear. Whatever interrupts your day we would do well to ask God what He would have us to say or do. We need to listen to our hearts and seek God's will in everything. God does love a cheerful giver not only of our money but of ourselves. Try to give God all of yourself and do it with a happy heart.
