Matthew 5:48
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.

We all enter into this old world as sinners and we sure aren't perfect. But when Jesus comes into our hearts we change and we no longer want to do the things we used to. We still are not perfect, but we want to be a better person than we were before. I don't live a perfect life nor do I have a perfect heart, but I wish to be more like Jesus every day of my life. The Bible tells us to be perfect like our Heavenly Father. I believe as much as humanly possible we should strive to be more like Jesus every day of our lives. Jesus is the only way we can even be better, because with out His help we can do nothing at all. All that we are and ever hope to be we owe to Jesus, our Lord and Savior. when we get to Heaven, we'll have a perfect body and a perfect heart and then and only then will we be like Jesus and that is being perfect in Jesus.
