Matthew 18:20
For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
When you pray and you don't seem to see an answer to your prayers, do you think God doesn't hear or just isn't going to answer. God hears every prayer that His children pray and He hears the sinner's prayer for forgiveness, but He answers our prayers in the way best for us and in His timing not ours. He knows better than we, what our needs are and how our prayers will affect others. I had a dear friend who was older than I to tell me that someone ask her to pray that some one dear to them would live and she told them I will pray that God's will be done concerning them. I think that was the first time I realized our will for someone might not be the way God plans. Yes, I do pray for people and love ones and I never give up but I do pray God's will be done in their lives as well as mine. I know a family member who prayed for her husband's salvation for about 20 years and he was saved 2 years before he died. He never went to church nor had time for God but his wife did and her prayers was answered but it took 20 years. I've seen many of my prayers answered and there are many that are yet to be answered about loved ones salvation. But as long as I live I'm not forsaking to pray for them. I do believe the scripture for today and I know God answers prayers. Sometimes He says yes, sometimes no and sometimes wait but He answers. Never ever stop praying.
