Hiss, Hiss, Come and listen Eve
Hiss, Hiss, Eat and you shall see
Take some to Adam
It will make you wise
Hiss, Hiss, from God you will hide.
Hiss, Hiss, the serpent did deceive
Hiss, Hiss, poor Adam and Eve
They had to leave the garden
because they disobeyed
Hiss, Hiss, what an awful day.
That was an awful day, but it was a wonderful day when my Jesus made it alright again on the cross when He said it "is finished." Sin came into the world when Adam and Eve first decided to take a bite of the fruit. Each and every person who was, is and will be born are sinners. I believe the Bible teaches us that children are innocent until they individually reach the age of accountability. When they understand what the cross is about and why Jesus gave His life for us then they are held accountable for their sin nature. When you are saved the understanding that you have at that moment will grow as you grow in your walk with the Lord. Sometimes we stop growing due to our own stubborness, but the potential is there to increase in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour. Let us strive today to grow in the knowledge of the Lord. Just take a verse, one verse and meditate on it all day and see what God can do with one little verse. Think about it.....it is finished....what a statement that carries a punch. It is finished tells me that my Jesus is coming to get me soon.....Praise God! Pick out your verse and let God tell you what it means....
