Psalms 19:14 NIV

May the words of mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Parents think about their children day & night even when they are grown. Parents ♥ their children in a way that they will never understand. Parents will be there for their children when no one else will. Parents would take a bullet, stand in front of a train & ask God to take them instead of their child. If you have a child or children that you love as much as I love mine you will understand what I am trying to say.

As I read this I begin to think about how much God loves His children. All of us that are saved are one of God's children and just as we love our earthly children; God loves us so much more because He gave His ONLY son to die on the cross for our sins. And just as we have to discipline our children from time to time God also disciplines His children out of pure love. God never gets tired and He never sleeps, He is an all knowing God and He is omnipresent. He knows what is going to happen to each of us long before it happens. He even knows the number of hairs on the top of your head. If He is concerned about the number of hairs on our heads, the sparrows when they fall and the lilies of the field dressed in their fine array of color, then think about how much more we mean to him as one of his children.

I do not think that our human, finite minds can begin to understand the love that God has for us nor do we understand how BIG God really is. But the one thing that we can be sure of is that God does love us, He sent his only Son to die on a cruel cross for our sins and and preparing us a home in Heaven that cannot even to begin to compare to our earthly dwellings.

Christ gave up an awful lot to come to earth in human flesh, He has been through everything that we can go through from disrespect, to betrayal, blasphemy, humiliation and finally death. But praise God that the tomb could not hold Him! He is risen from the dead and now sits at the right hand of the Father.

I cannot wait to see Heaven in all of it's glory, nor can I wait to spend an eternity praising God for all that He has done for me not to mention the reunion that we will have with our loved ones. Oh yes, there will be a shouting time in Glory for all the saints have come home! What a Day that will be when my Jesus I shall see.

If you do not know my Jesus, or if you do not know for sure in your heart that you will get to see your loved ones in Heaven, then you need to stop and examine your heart today and make things right between you and God right now before it is too late. Do not put off until tomorrow what you can do today. All you have to do is pray the sinner's prayer, which is to: confess to God that you are a sinner in need of salvation and ask God to come into your heart and reside there. This is one of the simplest things that you will ever do in your lifetime and the rewards are out of this world.

Would I take a bullet for my children? Yes, I would in a heartbeat! I would also stand and take one for my grandchildren too, all without a second thought. You see, when a mother sees her children or little grandchildren hurting she hurts too, so how much more do you think our Heavenly Father hurts for us when bad things happen to us. But, we have the arms of God wrapped around us just like we wrap our arms around our children when the going gets tough. Remember, God is always with us no matter how bad things may get and He is walking beside us or He is carrying us through it all. All we have to do is ask for His help. He is just a prayer away. Remember that God will never leave us nor forsake us but first, we have to ask.
