Luke 17:32
Remember Lot's wife

When the Lord says "don't look back", don't turn around and yearn for what was past. I can't say I have always done that, but I have learned from my mistakes and I'm still learning. Yesterday is gone. You can't go back and live in what is behind you. Turn back around and keep your eyes on Jesus. Our eyes should be on Jesus to start with, no past, just today. Today is the day of new beginnings. The past is behind us, no turning back. What might have been or if only must be buried in the pit of gone forever. How can we be of use to our Savior if we are always stuck in the past or pinning for yesterday. Lot's wife left her heart in a sin sick city or else she would not have looked back when God told them not to. God gives us freedom to choose His way or our way. The wrong choice will soon be known because God expects us to obey not disobey.  Don't be like Lot's wife and look back but look up to our Lord and choose His way.
