Psalms 19:14 NIV

May the words of mouth and the meditations of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 71:12  "O God, be not far from me:  O my God, make haste for my help.

Some days are as if I stood on a high hill and my whole being was filled with joy and peace and my praise to my God was flowing like a river.  Alas, then there are those days when I'm down in the valley of despair and my eyes are filled with tears and my heart is heavy and all I can do is cry.  "Lord, help me please."  I can not tell you why I have those days of tears and weeping, but I can tell you where to go when they come.  Jesus.  Jesus is the rock that I lean on.  He is my shelter in the storms.  He never leaves nor forsakes His children.  Though sometimes His children will wander far away.  Jesus is my hope and He gives me the strength for another day.  Whatever your day brings, look up, not down.  Run to the everlasting arms and let Jesus give you what is needed to climb higher, to brighter days.
