Psalm 91:2
"I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God in Him will I trust."

(This does not happen very often.  The water overflowing the dam.)

God is not God unless He is Lord of all. He is all I have to keep me keeping on in today's world. He is my God in the good times and He's my God in the bad times. God must be our most important priority and in control of our lives daily. We are to fellowship with Him and always listen to what He says to us through His word. God is my refuge in times of troubles and my fortress against the storms of this life. He is my anchor that holds in the raging storms. God is trust worthy in everything and we can depend upon Him to go with us in everything we face in this life. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress. I will trust in Him no matter what.  As in the above picture you can see how powerful the water is and how strong the dam is.  Both are very powerful yet they are both contained.  When we keep our eyes on Jesus and off the problems we may face, we have the strength of the dam, but most times we take our eyes off of Jesus and become as unruly and dangerous as the water.  If we channel the water correctly, even in dangerous times such as the above photo, we can have peace and assurance of safety.  If we prepare for such dangerous times by hiding His words in our hearts, peace comes much more quickly.   As the Bible says...."faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God."
