John :
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the spirit is spirit.

We have a physical birth in life and we also must have a spiritual birth to know God. The physical birth gives us life and the spiritual birth gives us eternal life, life forever. Jesus came to give us eternal life so we would never be separated from God. He became sin who knew no sin and took our sins and bore them so we could be set free forever. Without the shedding of Jesus precious blood for our sins and our faith in what He did at the cross there is no hope. Have you experienced spiritual birth? It means your life or your death.

I once was unconcerned of life
It was at my beck and call
but twilight started beckoning
And the true light I saw

Twilight glanced her way at me
As if to say there's so much more
If you would only look to God
His Son Jesus is the door.

Life tried her best to take me back
Down sin's twisted path
But once seeing what I missed
And facing God's eternal wrath

I chose the truth and now I see
More clearly every day
That Jesus is the One
Who took my sins away

The choice is simple
So please take heed
Choose life and you will see
Jesus is the only One who can truly set you free.
